Montauk Partners, L.P. was formed in 1998 to acquire interests in established venture capital funds and shares in venture-backed companies. Opportunities are sought from buy-out funds, acquisition funds, mezzanine funds and other private equity funds. Direct share purchases are made from terminating funds and other venture capital shareholders. Our exclusive focus is the organization of secondary investment funds.
